Respect for safety standards, worker health and the environment in which they operate are essential principles for SMC.

  • Membership in a group of occupational physicians \"GMT\"<\/li>
  • The delivery of first aid and emergency response training sessions for
    SMC staff dedicated to this task<\/li>
  • The signage of safety instructions and the conducting of training sessions and
    information for factory staff on the wearing of protective equipment
    individual PPE (earplugs, helmets, safety shoes\u2026)<\/li>
  • The establishment of a joint committee made up of the general management and the
    representatives of the factory staff who study and validate the development strategies of the
    Environment and Safety<\/li>
  • The periodic inspection and maintenance of electrical installations, overhead cranes,
    forklift, compressed air tank and fire-fighting equipment
    SMC is insured by approved technical inspection offices such as WTI<\/li>
  • The preparation of the environmental impact assessment and the implementation of a
    selective sorting system regularly managed by recycling and recovery companies
